The Penn State Law Review is pleased to announce that the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance and Financial Regulation has recently highlighted a panel presentation on negotiating acquisitions of public companies in transactions structured as friendly tender offers. Panelists included Richard E. Climan of Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP; George R. (Gar) Bason, Jr., of Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP; Joel I. Greenberg of Kaye Scholer LLP; and Lisa A. Schmidt of Richards, Layton & Finger. The panel presentation was a follow up from last year. Both presentations were held in New York City as part of the Annual Institute on Corporate, Securities, and Related Aspects of Mergers and Acquisitions, which is sponsored by the Penn State Center for the Study of Mergers and Acquisitions and the New York City Bar Association.
